A new, contemporary destination for this industrial building that was still used as a factory until 2017. The client, Volvo Buitenweg, wanted a broad interpretation and rejected the idea of a traditional showroom. The Tinfabriek is a meeting place for car enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and visitors.
Where the former factory activities took place behind closed doors, the new owner chooses openness and transparency, as well as preservation of pre-existing elements.
