Construction in this development in the Stripheldenbuurt in Almere was based on the FLEX building concept developed by VOCUS. The most important starting point was consumer-oriented construction. VOCUS devised an urban development plan for this in collaboration with the district, which allowed residents to choose their preferred type of housing. The housing complex has a variety of façades and a sturdy and robust look. The dimensions of the various modules result in a sculptural shape. The pattern of roof terraces and first storey indentations reinforce this effect.
